For the first time, users of the Niantic title will choose through their votes which Pokémon is chosen: Vulpix, Machop, Rhyhorn or Dratini.
The Pokémon GO Community Day of the month of February is going to be unusual, since it will not be Niantic who chooses the protagonist Pokémon but it will be the community itself, worth the redundancy, who decides which creature will be the one that occupies all the looks of the second Day of the Community of the year 2020. We will explain how to participate in the vote.
When can we vote to choose the main character Pokémon
First of all and what you are all here for: when and how can we vote? Very simple: this Saturday, February 1, 2020, from 00:00 to 25:39 local time. All votes will be counted through the total number of field research tasks completed across the planet within the allotted time frame. On that day, all Poképaradas will have a task related to one of the aspiring Pokémon.
Depending on the task we complete (which bears the explicit name of each of the candidates), a vote will be sent to that postulate. These are the budding tasks:
- Vote for Machop Community Day! Catch 20 Pokémon
- Vote for Rhyhorn Community Day! Catch 20 Pokémon
- Vote for Vulpix Community Day! Catch 20 Pokémon

When will the Community Day be February 2020
Once the protagonist Pokémon is chosen, the Community Day of February 2020 will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22, 2020. The outstanding bonus will be triple Star Powders per capture. For the Northern Hemisphere Coaches, it will be from 11:00 to 14:00 local time; in the southern hemisphere it will be from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
