The Pokémon Company has confirmed that the Pokémon GO Community Day of March will be celebrated on March 15 with Abra as the main protagonist. This veteran species, native to the Kanto region, will be the focus of thousands of players for three hours with several bonuses and an exclusive movement. Let's know all the details.
March 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. – Abra, Kadabra and Alakazam
After Piplup Community Day in January and Rhyhorn in February, Generation I is once again chosen for a Community Day that will say goodbye to the current winter season in the northern hemisphere (summer in the southern hemisphere), conditions that they will be taken into account once again by Niantic to establish the specific times of celebration of the event. Thus, Community Day will be from 11:00 to 14:00 in the northern hemisphere; and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. from the southern hemisphere.
There will be bonuses, as it could not be otherwise. On the one hand, a bonus x3 in EXP per capture, ideal for those who are still on the way to becoming Level 40 (plus x2 secured on that multiplied if we also use a Lucky Egg …). On the other, baits with a duration of three hours. Thus, if we activate a Bait at the beginning of the event, we will have 180 minutes of greater frequency of wild Pokémon. It is worth it, so we recommend being in parks or places where in addition to baits there are also activated other items (Incenses) that agglomerate creatures around the Poképaradas.
Although it has not yet been confirmed which exclusive movement can be learned this time, Alakazam will be the great beneficiary of the activity. After Kadabra (25 candies), evolving to Alakazam (100 candies) with a movement away from the usual ones can be especially interesting for the PvP. Basically, Alakazam knows Psychocut and Confusion; in the loaded ones we usually see him with Shadow Ball, Fire Fist, True Wave or Premonition. If we are lucky, we can meet Abra shiny / varicolor.
