Today, June 3, the special investigation of the 2020 Return Challenge Championship begins in Pokémon GO. After four large temporary missions focused on the investigations of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, it is time to enter the phase focused on Teselia, Generation 5, which will bring with it as a great culmination the debut of the first indigenous species of the Galar region.
Professor Willow needs our help with this task and, as always, we must complete all four sets of research tasks to collect five Rare Candies, reward encounters with Meowth de Galar, Stunfisk de Galar and Genesect Form, and Professor's glasses. Willow as an exclusive item for the avatar. This task is not like the others: it is not temporary. This time, there will be no time limit; so it will be enough to unlock it to be able to complete it at the time we want.
What if I did not complete any of the previous lines of research?
In those cases where for whatever reason we have not completed the temporary special investigation tasks that have taken place in recent weeks, we can buy a ticket at the store for about 8 euros, which will give us access to the Celebration of the Challenge Return 2020. It is now available in the Pokémon GO Store. With it, we will be able to access the same tasks and rewards as the special investigation of the 2020 Return Challenge Championship that the rest of the Trainers have achieved.
Now, if we had access to the Championship and still bought this special payment pass with real money, we will access a version of the special investigation of the 2020 Challenge Return Championship with some changes. Remarkable, every time we win a reward encounter with a Pokémon, we will get 10 Candies for that specific Pokémon and Stardust instead of Professor Willow's glasses.
Finally, it should be noted that all players will be able to enjoy an event that will take place simultaneously around the world: Galar's debut. We will see wild Stunfisk de Galar and Meowth de Galar, Zigzagoon de Galar, Darumaka de Galar and Stunfisk de Galar will appear in the hatched 7 km Eggs.
