Pokémon GO: schedule of events and Legendary for June 2020

Trapinch on research achievements, the 2020 Return Challenge, the arrival of Zekrom, the Bichear event, Community Day, raids and much more.

As every month, Pokémon GO remains one of the most alive and full of content games today. After several months with exceptional measures caused by the coronavirus crisis, things are slowly returning to their proper course and the phenomenon of Niantic on iOS and Android presents one of its tightest agendas that are remembered in June 2020.

From a Community Day already confirmed to new research achievements, the expected arrival of the 2020 Return Challenge, the departure of Reshiram or the arrival of Zekrom. But this is not all, because again we will have A Bichear !, the highlights of the raids and the weekly highlights of Pokémon will also be seen during specific dates of a month of June where the heat will be a common denominator.

June Research Achievements: Trapinch (June 1 to July 1)

From Monday, June 1, 2020 at 10:00 PM to Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 10:00 PM CEST (1:00 PM PDT), Trapinch will be available as a Research Achievement Meeting. We are talking about an Earth-type Pokémon with Stoicism or Dig in its fast movements and Dig or Loop Arena in its main highlights movements. To evolve it to Vibraba we need 25 candies, while to get Flygon it will be 100 candies.

Special Investigation of the 2020 Return Challenge (June 3 to July 8)

Those who have gained access to the special research of the 2020 Return Challenge Championship (after completing the missions of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Teselia) will be able to start collaborating with Professor Willow to discover new original Teselia Pokémon and, for the first time , also kick off the first Pokémon in the Galar region in Pokémon GO.

Four series of special investigation tasks await us with which we can win five Rare Candies, reward encounters with Meowth of Galar, Stunfisk of Galar and Form of Genesect, and Professor Willow's glasses as an exclusive item for the avatar. This research task is different from the previous ones, which were temporary. This has no time limit: when we unlock it, we can go to it whenever we want, something ideal considering that we continue to have movement restrictions in some parts of Spain due to the coronavirus.

And what happens to those Trainers who have not completed the previous investigations and do not have free access to the Celebration of the 2020 Return Challenge? There will be a payment option in the Store. If we already have access and buy the ticket, we will also receive a special version of the investigation with the following changes: every time you win a reward encounter with a Pokémon, you will obtain instead 10 Candies for that specific Pokémon and Star Dust instead of Professor Willow's glasses.

All in all, we'll see wild Stunfisk de Galar and Meowth de Galar, Zigzagoon de Galar, Darumaka de Galar and Stunfisk de Galar will appear in the hatched 7km Eggs.
