Niantic confirms a limited time event dedicated to the second generation Ice-type Pokémon. We know all the confirmed features.
New event on the way for Pokémon GO. Niantic has confirmed new temporary research tasks, this time dedicated to Sneasel, the second generation Ice-type Pokémon. Let us know all the details, including the date of celebration, the hours it will take place and the characteristics.
Date, Time, and Features: New Limited Research from Sneasel
Sneasel’s Research Limited event will be held this January 30, Saturday, from 08:00 to 22:00 local time. In this way, practically the whole day we will be able to participate in the field research tasks that are currently being prepared for the weekend. Sneasel’s temporary research will reward an encounter with this creature; and, if we are lucky, we may find it in shiny / variocolor form. But this is not all, as we will see below.
New temporary investigation from January 26 to February 7
Apart from this announcement, Niantic confirms that from this Tuesday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. until next Sunday, February 7 at 8:00 p.m. (local time), that is, during these next two weeks, we will have an investigation temporary dedicated to Team GO Rocket with a rather succulent reward: an encounter with Ho-Oh, Johto’s legendary and protagonist of Pokémon Gold, with learned Earthquake.
To qualify for that guaranteed encounter with Ho-Oh, it will be necessary to complete the research tasks – currently unknown – of Team GO Rocket on the indicated dates.
We remember that the Johto Celebration Event has begun as part of the countdown until the Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto is held on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the saga on February 27. Will we have any major announcements that day? There are only a few weeks to find out; it will be a “very special” year.
For the rest, here you have all the research, rewards and shiny for this month of January that we are about to finish.
