Pokémon Shield and Sword: release date, price and trailers

Just a few days after the official launch of the new installment of the saga, we offer you all the details about the editions and more.

Galar opens before our eyes. A new region full of creatures that will make us live new adventures in the unmistakable worlds created by The Pokémon Company and Game Freak. Pokémon Sword and Shield is an exclusive RPG for Nintendo Switch that introduces classic and novel elements, a recipe with which the studio will try to attract players. Here are some of the keys to its launch.

November 15 on Nintendo Switch

Pokémon Let's GO Pikachu / Eevee was the first attempt to bring the saga to Nintendo Switch, but from the beginning it was said that the great RPG would be Pokémon Sword and Shield, since the delivery of the previous year focused on experimenting with Pokémon's own mechanics GO Will it meet expectations? We will find out in a few days, when the title goes on sale finally in the hybrid of Kyoto. It will be from next November 15, at which time we can become the best coach in the region.

With regard to the editions, you can purchase the normal edition in digital format at a price of 59.99 euros on the Nintendo eShop. This delivery does not have a collector's edition, but if you buy it in physical you have options to obtain the odd extra. For example, in GAME, which is available at a price of 59.95, two different extras are offered: on the one hand, a steelbook and a cosmetic DLC, specifically, an athletic set.

The same store offers the possibility of acquiring Pokémon Sword and Shield in the same pack. It costs 119.95 euros (almost double) and includes a metal box of Pokémon Sword and Shield (with a hole for two cards), the DLC and a figure-diorama that reproduces the three initial Pokémon: Scorbunny, Grookey and Sobble. That edition can also be found on Amazon, although it only comes with the steelbook.
