The Pokémon Company will celebrate the Pokémon Day with new announcements also for Pokémon GO and Pokémon Masters. First details confirmed.
The Pokémon Company has confirmed that on February 27, the anniversary of Pokémon, has been recognized as an official day on the calendar of Japan by the Japan Anniversary Association. The Japanese firm has taken advantage to advance that this day will reveal a new Pokémon unique for Sword and Shield (eighth generation), as well as more news related to the saga.
On that new singular Pokémon, – of which we have no record and that is, therefore, none of the Legendary recently revealed on the occasion of the Expansion Pass, such as Kubfu or Calyrex (the Legendary and the Singular are not the same) -, It has been confirmed that he will star in the next film, which will be released in July 2020 in Japanese cinemas.
Beyond that, new Raids, events for Pokémon GO and events for Pokémon Masters, the two most important spin off titles of the saga on mobile devices will be announced. There are no more details in this regard, as these developments will be known in a way yet to be determined on the chosen date.
