New graphic materials appear for the model sent to developers prior to the final design of PS5. This is what the non-final version of the console looks like.

A user named WellGamer161 has shared new images of the PS5 development kit through the social network Twitter. This model, sent by Sony months before the premiere of the machine to video game studios and partners to start working on console titles, began to be filtered from the summer of 2019 through concept sketches, then it ended up being true. Now we can see it in more detail.

This model, the PS5 Development Kit DFI-D1000AA, is the famous V-shaped, a chassis designed to facilitate ventilation of the set from the top. The new images, which feature the Sony icon on the front, show all kinds of connectors; including four USB 3.0 ports. On the back we can see a power input identical to the commercial model of PlayStation 5, Ethernet ports and other informative details.

Constructed of plastic, this PS5 development model used HDMI to connect to a television and was officially certified by Sony, but as is evident it was not the final design chosen, as has happened with previous PlayStation consoles, whose development kit does not correspond with the official model.
