PS5: They recreate in 3D and 360 degrees the new Sony console

The final look of PlayStation 5 was shown during the conference in which the first games on the platform were presented.

One of the great unknowns about the new generation of consoles was how the design of the PlayStation 5 would be. Until a few days ago, the only public model was that of the development kit, which, as usual, has not been anything representative with respect to the final design. Sony took advantage of the presentation event of the PS5 video games to show the public what the console will be like when it comes out in stores in late 2020. Its appearance, which has generated debate (both for and against), has been modeled in 3D With every little detail.

Virtual Studio has been in charge of modeling the 3D design of both the PlayStation 5 and its controller, the Dual Sense. In both cases, they can be rotated 360 degrees. Anyone who wants to view the reproduction can do so below these lines. Those who choose to purchase the models (compatible with Unreal Engine and Unity), will have to pay $ 49 and $ 39, respectively. It should be noted that in the case of the console, the edition that comes with the Ultra HD disc player has been used.

Two models, one difference

PlayStation 5 will hit the market in two different models, both white (other colors are not ruled out for the future). The difference between one and the other lies in the disc reader. While the first has an Ultra HD Blu-Ray (4K) reader, the second model is completely digital. As the price has not yet been revealed, it remains to be seen what the cost difference will be for the consumer.

Sony has experimented in the past with a digital machine, the PSP GO, although at that time it failed to captivate the public. For its part, Microsoft did the same with Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, a console that came standard with some games included.

Both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are scheduled for release in late 2020.
