Trackhouse Racing Eyes San Diego Victory
The newly created 3.4‑mile event at Naval Base Coronado will feature a course that has already tested Cup drivers on tight corners and high straights. Van Gisbergen has taken six of the last seven road‑course events in the series and finished only second in the sole race he has not yet won.
In San Diego, the driver will steer the unique No. 97 Camaro, a vehicle bearing a complete Red Bull scheme reminiscent of the brand’s early Cup involvement. This special paintcheque is part of the team’s attempt to add another triumph to the year.
