The arrival of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC makes several mods appear and one of them manages to increase the difficulty of the title considerably.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is not a game known for its difficulty, at least in the single player Campaign mode. Even so, many players and players who like challenges wanted the Rockstar title focused on the Far West to be a challenge. This will be the case for all those who use a mod that has been launched recently and that allows to apply some changes in the difficulty of the game. On the other hand, something that also entailed a lot of difficulty was giving life to Arthur Morgan, the protagonist of the game. This was explained to us by Roger Clarke, an actor who is part of the game and one of the guests of the Fun & Serious festival.

All about the Red Dead Redemption 2 mod that adds difficulty

The "Difficulty Scaler" mod is quite easy to use and features controls that allow players to return to the initial settings with a hot key. As for the features it presents, they are the following: Increase the damage caused by enemy weapons and reduce ours at will and by means of a simple hot key. Thanks to this, realism increases and the battles feel more powerful, in addition to making the shootings more challenging.

We remind you that the PC version of Red Dead Redemption landed on Steam on November 5. The version includes several new additions such as a precise photo mode, which allows you to capture the game scenes in detail and in HD and a wide range of mods that the modder community has created. Some of them are the one that turns the characters into giants and dwarves, the arrival of Zombies to the game or the power to throw rays against enemies. All these mods can be managed thanks to a manager created by a modder.
