We help you find the letter that Jill left for Kendo in Resident Evil 2 Remake for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Witness this curious easter egg from RE3.
With the announcement of the remake of Resident Evil 3 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Resident Evil 2 received a patch that, as an easter egg, added a secret letter from Jill Valentine addressed to Robert Kendo. In this section of our complete RE2 Remake guide we tell you how and where to find it:
Resident Evil 2 Remake: where to find Jill Valentine's letter
As we reported several days ago, with the announcement of the RE3 remake, Resident Evil 2 received a patch that added a new achievement / trophy: "Signed, Jill." This trophy consists of finding and reading the letter that Jill Valentine leaves to Robert Kendo in his gun shop.
If you have already completed Resident Evil 2, you will have noticed that it is only possible to access Kendo's gun shop playing as Leon, regardless of whether it is on Route A or Route B. Claire cannot find this easter egg because in neither of its two routes you pass through this Raccoon City location.
What we have to do to find Jill Valentine's letter is very simple. Just play as Leon, regardless of the difficulty mode, and move on until we have escaped from the police station through the garage after solving the puzzle of the electronic panel, also regardless of whether we are on Route A or B of the character's story.
We left the police station through the garage
When we go outside again, we have to cross the huge street until we see the luminous sign of the gun shop, and enter inside.
We headed to the gun shop
Once inside, we will find Jill Valentine's letter to Robert Kendo on top of one of the tables in the underprivileged store. By interacting with it, we can read it and unlock the corresponding achievement / trophy.
The letter is in this place
The content of the letter is as follows:
This is the letter Jill leaves for Kendo
Note to the owner
Kendo,
I imagine you have your reasons to stay, so I trust that, whatever it is, you will be careful.
Still, if things get worse and your "other preparations" don't work out, you know where you can find me. I will do everything I can to help you.
Jill valentine
