Resident Evil 7 shows the Baker family designs that were never used

Capcom’s game took Ethan, its protagonist, to the gloomy home of a more than peculiar family.

When Ethan entered the Bakers’ house he was met with unusual hospitality, in every sense of the word. Sitting on a chair at a dining room table, the family put a very unappetizing food on his plate. The nightmare of the protagonist of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard had only just begun. The Twitter user Surrealand Creepy has shared a conceptual image in which you can see members of that family who never appeared in the final video game, as can be seen in the tweet attached to this news.

This title redefined the saga again, after several installments focused almost exclusively on the action. For the first time, Capcom opted for the first-person camera, as opposed to classic games and recently released remakes. However, in the next chapter, Resident Evil Village, we will see everything again through the eyes of its protagonist. This is so because it is a direct sequel to the seventh episode.

Ethan’s hard way

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard was released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It also received a version for Nintendo Switch, albeit in the cloud and only for the Japanese market. The game tells the story of Ethan, a man who loses his wife and falls into a spiral of sadness. All in all, hopes return when he receives a mysterious letter signed by his own wife. Then, he will travel to the place and try to retrieve it, not knowing the dangers he will have to face to fulfill his objective.

For its part, Resident Evil Village will close the loose ends that have remained. We will drive Ethan again, this time in a very unwelcoming town. Monsters, snow and a lot of fear. When? Sometime in 2021, on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PS5. As of today there is no version for PS4 and Xbox One confirmed, but Capcom does not rule it out.
