Resident Evil does not rest: Capcom works on an unannounced title

The saga will release in April the revamped version of the third installment of the saga, which will incorporate an exclusive multiplayer mode.

The success of the latest titles in the Capcom survival horror saga has not gone unnoticed by Capcom. After the launch of Resident Evil 2 Remake it is the turn of the revamped version of the third installment. However, it will not be the only title marketed in the future. As Vandal reveals, the Japanese company has sent an email to the members of the Resident Evil Ambassador program, confirming that they are working on an “unannounced title”.

The company informs that they will carry out a test session starring this mysterious project, so the relevant invitations will be sent. However, no dates or details have been confirmed, nor have clues been given about the nature of the video game. Apart from the remakes, the series does not advance since Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, which was marketed in January 2017.

News in the Ambassadors Program

The company plans to make changes in its loyalty program, which brings fans of the saga all the information first hand, while allowing them to access betas and other advantages. According to the email, users will have the opportunity to raise the level of their player card, so that additional points can be earned. "We are introducing a new ranking system for our Ambassadors Program," they comment. "There are four ranks: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum."

The player cards have also undergone some changes, so that it is already possible to select between the different options. It has not been explained in depth how the new system will work, but they have advanced that a greater range will give more opportunities for access to betas and offers.

Resident Evil 3 Remake is a reimagining of the original video game, which will go on sale on PS4, Xbox One and PC. He will do it on April 3 and will include an asymmetric multiplayer mode, known as Resident Evil: Resistance. Check out the minimum requirements on PC.
