Resident Evil Resistance is updated to improve matchmaking and more

Players complained about the time they had to wait to participate in games, especially if they wanted to master the master brain.

A few weeks have passed since the release of Resident Evil 3 Remake, the reimagined version of the Capcom classic. The title renews the adventure and includes a completely new asymmetric multiplayer mode, Resident Evil Resistance. However, after the premiere, many users have detected errors in the players' pairing system, especially when they want to control the master brain. Capcom has released a new patch whereby they have tried to fix the problems in matchmaking.

Through a tweet published on the official Capcom Dev 1 account, the team has transmitted a message from the developers, who in addition to thanking the players to continue supporting the video game, announces the news of the update, now available in all platforms. Without going into too much detail, they assure that they have adjusted the matchmaking, but they have also decided to eliminate the missions of the master brain. Finally, they give away 10 RP Boosters, an element that makes you earn points faster (it serves as ingame money).

Four against one

Resident Evil Resistance is a mode that pits four survivors against a master brain. While the former try to get around the traps sent by the brain, the latter sends hordes of enemies against the survivors. Until now, users have complained about the long time they have to wait to drive the master brain, sometimes almost an hour.

This mode has been added, according to Capcom, because Resident Evil 3 Remake lacks two campaigns, as in the case of Resident Evil 2 Remake. However, the classic Mercenary Mode has remained on the way. At one point, it was thought to market this multiplayer separately, although Capcom finally decided to launch it along with the new remake.

Resident Evil 3 Remake has been available since April 3 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
