Rumor: God of War appears on the PC

Playfront

After the Quantic Dream games, Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn, 'God of War' could be the next PlayStation exclusive game released for the PC.

This is suspected from a change on the official homepage, where the label 'Only on PlayStation' was removed from the US PlayStation site. This usually indicates that the title is for PlayStation only. However, this only affects the US side and could simply have been forgotten during an update. The label is still available for games like Days Gone and Dreams, as well as on the PlayStation sites in other regions.

It remains to be seen whether Sony will actually bring the PlayStation game to the PC. According to the latest statements, Sony does not intend to publish every PlayStation title for the PC.

If you ask the God of War makers Santa Monica Studios for a PC release, it was recently said that this does not fall within their decision area, since the rights to the brand are held by Sony.
