Marvelous and XSEED Games announce that the port of the RPG title and Nintendo 3DS simulation will make the leap to Swict in the West along with a special edition.

Rune Factory 4 Special, the port for Nintendo Switch of the RPG and simulation of Nintendo 3DS, will finally arrive in the west on February 28. This has been confirmed by both Marvelous and XSEED Games, also announcing a special edition known as the Archival Edition along with the standard physical and digital copy of the eShop.

Announced its first downloadable content

Thus, Rune Factory 4 Special will receive a downloadable content under the title Another Episode and that will be available in the eShop the same day of the launch of the video game, free of charge. Of course, said DLC will only be free until March 26, at which time it will cost 4.99 euros, an extra content that will add new illustrated stories for the 12 singles of the title.

Beyond the DLC, the title will present a completely renewed graphic finish in its jump from 3DS to Switch, as well as a new introduction sequence fully updated and a new level of extra difficulty known as Hell, which as its name suggests , will be more challenging than the rest. It also adds a new mode called Newlywed with special episodes about its protagonists and that come with new kinematics and voices.

Finally, the so-called Archival Edition of the game incorporates physical extras such as a 160-page art book, the game's soundtrack on CD with 33 original and 3 new tracks from the Special edition, a DLC with swimsuits and a box with an unpublished illustration, in addition to a copy of the game.
