The new LittleBigPlanet spin off will be released this November as a 2.5D platform adventure designed to be enjoyed alone or in company.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be one of the launch video games for PlayStation 5 this November; although it will also have a version for PS4. The charismatic protagonist of the LittleBigPlanet series is back with a 2.5D platform title developed by Sumo Digital – who already worked on LittleBigPlanet 3 – which is now presented with a new preview of its gameplay and available editions.
“We’ve been developing this game for a loooong time, and even a few weeks after launch, we’re still tweaking things here and there to put the finishing touches on it. It has been a privilege for me to be part of this team, which is incredibly talented and has a true devotion to Sackboy, ”says New Watherhouse, Design Director at Sumo Digital.
The objective of the title, as he relates, is that players can enjoy a three-dimensional cooperative platform adventure. In the video attached to this news we can see closely how they have developed the game, which confirms that it will move to 60 FPS. Throughout the levels we will overcome challenges of all kinds, with impossible jumps and small puzzles to advance in the phases. “If you have experience with any previous Sackboy games, you will know that he is a huge fan of costumes. There are more than 60 costumes to discover, and you can combine the parts of one and the other to make your own personalized Sackboy ”, he adds. Personalization has been and continues to be fundamental in the license.
Those who buy the PS4 version will not have to pay again for the PS5, we read on the official PlayStation website: “Digital version of PS5 included at no additional cost with the PS4”.
