The development of ‘Saints Row V’ is still going on, as Volition Games confirms once again. The title was originally mentioned in the course of a business report last year.
Deep Silver has just announced a remaster of Saints Row: The Third, which is being implemented by Sperasoft. The brand new offshoot of the series is created as usual at Volition Games, even if you can hardly find out the details.
In a short tweet you only confirm the ongoing development again. In this it says:
A new Saints Row game is in development from @dsvolition. The Saints Row: The Third remaster is being done by Sperasoft.

Since the development of Saints Row V is still at the beginning, it can be assumed that the game will only be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X, possibly as a cross-gen title. However, it is still too early for that, since, as mentioned, there is no information about the game.
The Saints Row: The Third Remaster will initially appear on May 22, 2020 and can be pre-ordered now.
