Shawn Layden and Tim Willits, among the first confirmed of GameLab 2020

The event in Barcelona will not be held this year in person due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The show must go on despite the coronavirus. Gamelab Barcelona 2020 Live will be a completely digital event in its current edition, as confirmed by the organizers in a recent press release. A few weeks later, the first confirmed speakers have just been announced, including names such as Shawn Layden, Minh Le, Tim Willits, Richard Lemarchand and Charlie Cleveland. They are important figures linked to iconic video games like Counter-Strike, Unchared, Doom or Subnautica.

The first calendar data has already been revealed. Between June 23 and 25, David Gardner, Ian Dallas, Máximo Cavazzani, Sebastien Borget or Daniel Sánchez Crespo will participate in different presentations. These talks can be followed for free, as long as the interested party subscribes (it is still possible to do so). There are also professional passes that will allow access to exclusive material and networking, not to mention the possibility of interacting live with the speakers.
