The Silent Hill franchise has been on everyone's lips again in the last few weeks, which might get another chance from Konami. Most recently, it was said here that one supposedly dares to restart with Hideo Kojima, who himself is very interested in horror games.

Now the former Silent Hill Monster designer, Masahiro Ito, is also speaking on Twitter, who says he is working on a new project that he hopes will not be stopped. Whether it is again a horror game, or together with Hideo Kojima, or even the speculated Silent Hill, can currently only be guessed.

I'm working on a title as a core member. I hope the title won't be canceled.

Ito was then working as a monster and background designer for Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2 and Sill Hill 3. He has also worked on NightCry and Metal Gear Solid Survive.
