Sonic 2 arrived last week at Nintendo Switch under the SEGA Ages label, which is responsible for moving some of the classics of the Japanese company to other platforms. So far, all normal. Of course, one of the additions to celebrate is precisely the Super Sonic mode, a dream for those of us who were little when we met, perhaps, the best hedgehog game. The proposal of this version, already available in the eShop for 6.99 euros, is as follows: when you finish the game for the first time, the Super Sonic mode is unlocked. Complicated? Not really. The title allows you to choose any level from the beginning and allows you to save and load game at any time. So it is as simple as going directly to the last level of all, where we fight against a metallic Sonic and then against Robotnik, we overcome them (using save / load if you do not know this memory match) and then we will have the Super Sonic mode available. When we play, we choose this mode and when it starts, we jump to transform.
The trick of the sound menu and the chaos emeralds
The original game allowed us to access Super Sonic quickly if in the level selection menu we went to the song selector and gave the play to songs 4, 1, 2 and 6. At that time the sound of the emeralds sounded of the chaos and we had available to become Super Sonic … When we collected 50 rings.
