Sotenbori will be the third playable map in Yakuza: Like a Dragon; new invocations

Yakuza: Like a Dragon adds a third playable map. We know the first pair of downloadable content, as well as the invocations.

SEGA does not cease its efforts to show even the smallest brushstroke of its star project for the first half of 2020. Yakuza: Like a Dragon is less than a month to reach Japanese lands. While in the West we will have to wait a little longer, the company returns to the forefront to confirm new features.

So we can extract from his recent gameplay trailer, Sotenbori joins Isezaki Ijincho and Kamurocho as an explorable map. For those less accustomed to the franchise, the famous “entertainment district” in Osaka was one of the explorable districts in several of the past installments, such as Yakuza 0, Yakuza 2 and its remake Kiwami 2, and Yakuza 5.

In another order of things, the appearance of old faces during the game will not be subject only to the plot advance, but that several of them will serve the interests of Ichigan in the form of invocations. For a small fee (and prior loyalty), characters like Taiga Saejima can come to our help, among others that we will not reveal.

First confirmed DLC

At least in Japan, Yakuza: Like a Dragon will receive two extra classes as a downloadable content. The first, called "Woman Band Leader", makes women in our group like Eri Kamataki can shoot the enemy with guns, as well as use a "naginata" (Japanese antler weapon) to carry out melee attacks. Remember that the initial role of the character will be "office worker" after the events that will occur in the adventure. The second class, "Demon," is described as "a dark knight who drives guitar in hand crazy."

Remember that the game is scheduled to launch in Japan on January 16 exclusively for PlayStation 4. Its arrival in the West will be located at some unknown point at the moment of 2020.
