Square Enix announces its lineup at PAX East 2020: Final Fantasy VII Remake

The Japanese company will carry one of the most anticipated games of the moment such as Final Fantasy VII Remake, but Marvel's Avengers will not be present.

Although there have already been companies that have gotten off the car of the PAX East 2020 to be held in Boston next week, Square Enix has not been one of them. Nothing further, will in fact take one of the most anticipated games for this 2020, the most anticipated in Japan, in fact, as is Final Fantasy VII Remake, in addition to a preview of the next generation.

SE's plans at PAX East

Although not yet one of the most popular events worldwide, this PAX East 2020 is beginning to look more interesting. For example, Square Enix has confirmed that it will carry a playable demo of Final Fantasy VII Remake, in addition to other special events related to the game. Among them is a session of signatures with the actors who play Tifa, Barret, Aerith, Jessie and Biggs, and a session in which attendees can be photographed with Hardy Daytona, the mythical motorcycle of the game's protagonist, Cloud. Those who come to the game panel can also acquire a double-sided poster with the art of Final Fantasy VII Remake.

However, it will not be one of the great bets of Square Enix at the fair, such as Final Fantasy XIV Online, a panel where there would also have been gifts, photo sessions, a live stream with the developers where they will show the next news … In addition, the assistants could have thrown the glove to the next test of the game, Rubi Weapon, taking a commemorative shirt those who managed to overcome it. All these plans have been canceled because of the coronavirus, as the company itself has confirmed.

And finally, Outriders will be the other game present, which we could already play not long ago. This is the main commitment of Square Enix for the beginning of the next generation, and it is a cooperative and competitive looter shooter by People Can Fly, creators of Bulletstorm and Gears of War Judgment.

The great absentee will be Marvel's Avengers, which recently suffered a delay since we should have seen it this spring, as it will finally be released next September.
