A new path for Insomniac

Insomniac Games began a new era when it was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment, long after the successful launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man. The North American developer has been closely linked to PlayStation from the beginning, to the point that parallels were always made with Naughty Dog. In fact, in those early years, both studios competed in a way when it came to creating their games. Now they are under the same umbrella.

Walt Williams, meanwhile, leaves the Star Wars saga after two video games. All in all, the exclusivity agreement between EA and Lucasfilm has come to an end. That means that the Disney company can commission projects of the brand to other studios, as in the case of Ubisoft. In addition, Machine Games, the Bethesda studio, is developing a game based on Indiana Jones, although neither the launch window nor the platforms on which it will be marketed have yet been announced.
