DICE has postponed the next major update for 'Star Wars: Battlefront II' and also cites the corona virus as the reason for this, as well as the current restructuring to home offices.
Although work on the update continues, it is delayed a bit, which is why the Battle on Scarif update can probably only be delivered around mid-April.
“As you may have seen, DICE started working from home last week to best protect the health and well-being of the team. The Star Wars team has now moved from our office to our home office.
Work on the game continues, but moving from the office environment to the home office has some impact on our workflow. We are currently streamlining these processes and adapting them later.
For this reason, we have decided to postpone the release of the Battle on Scarif update until mid-April. This is our new target period, but as the situation develops, we will keep you up to date with further adjustments. ”
More details about the update will follow in the next week. In the meantime, a Double XP event will start from March 27th to 29th, with which you can pass the time.
