Star Wars Battlefront II – update with BB-8 & BB-9E coming soon

Playfront

EA and DICE will shortly release the January update for 'Star Wars Battlefront II', which was presented in December. As a highlight, BB-8 and BB-9E await you as new heroes.

Community manager Ben Walke also confirmed Ajan Kloss, Takodana and Jakku for total domination, as well as the MC85 and the First Order Star Destroyer as part of the update. The full changes will follow in a few days.

Preliminary patch notes

  • In January we release “Total Domination” for the sequel trilogy! So you can defend or destroy two new battleships: the MC85 of the Resistance and the Star Destroyer of the Resurgent class. These huge ships position themselves over the gripping ground battles that flare up on the new jungle planet from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Jakku. Both locations can also be played offline in instant action.
  • The already mentioned planet Jakku joins our new planet based on Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in “Total Domination”.
  • Fans of astromech droids can also look forward to. And honestly … who is not a fan of astromech droids? The brave BB-8 joins the resistance as a new hero character and expands the squad with a fast-paced style of play. Its counterpart BB-9E plays an important support role for the first order on the dark side.

The January update will be delivered next week.
