Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – Endgame content instead of New Game Plus option

Playfront

Now that 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order' has been available for a few days, the first players are likely to have reached the end. Now, a New Game Plus option would be available to relive the story without having to re-learn all the power.

However, a design decision by Respawn prevents you from enjoying this feature in the near future. Instead, there is the endgame content, where you can freely explore the planets and build your skills.

The structure of the story of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is designed so that you can enter certain areas of the planet only if you have certain skills, such as the Wallrun. Only then will you be able to travel back sometime to develop more areas. If this ability were present from the beginning through the New Game Plus option, it would undo the concept of the story, and travel back and forth between the planets, as Respawn explains.

New challenges can be found in the difficulty levels, which are pretty fast and crisp. Enemies have a lot more energy and the time to parry gets shorter and shorter. Your own energy and power also suffer much faster, the higher the level of difficulty.

Whether you at some point complies with the New Game Plus option is currently quite uncertain. Maybe there is a way to reconcile everything.

Impressions of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is also available in our latest review of the game.
