Three trilogies, two spin-offs, television series …
The Star Wars saga started in 1977 with the premiere of A New Hope, Episode IV, followed by episodes V and VI in 1980 and 1983, respectively. It was not until 1999 when the new trilogy was released with episode I, The Phantom Menace, followed by episodes II and III in 2002 and 2005, respectively. In 2008, the Star Wars animated series The Clone Wars began, which was set between Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith.
After the success of the animation series of The Clone Wars, in 2014, it released its new animation series Star Wars Rebels, which was located just before the events of Rogue One .. Already in 2015 the episode VII was released, The awakening of the Force, the beginning of the current trilogy, while in 2017 the last Jedi was released, episode VIII; between them two spin-offs that extended the history of certain characters or moments, such as Rogue One and Solo, arrived in the movies in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
The Mandalorian, the new Star Wars series
In 2019, the first series with real actors of the saga, The Mandalorian, starring Pedro Pascal, was premiered exclusively at Disney +, in which we live the adventures of a Mandalorian bounty hunter. Set just after the Return of the Jedi and just before the new trilogy released in 2015.
