Steam Game Festival 2021: get more than 500 demos totally free

Valve’s digital store unveils its next festival of demos of upcoming releases. Dates and all details confirmed.

Valve has confirmed a new edition of Steam Game Festival, an event that will allow Steam users to download and try more than 500 demos of future video games for free from their homes. As on previous occasions, this action will be free; It will be enough to have an account on the platform and a computer to run the trial versions that we want between February 3 and 9.

But the Steam Game Festival does not just involve the opening of a specific portal for these free demos, but an audiovisual display of live broadcasts where the developers of these future releases – some larger and others more modest – will appear before the fans to give answers to the doubts of the players as well as to detail the creative aspirations of their projects. A rapprochement, in short, between artist and player that is so appreciated in contemporary communities.

Valve will do its own broadcast on Wednesday, February 3

Valve will also participate on the first day, Wednesday, February 3, starting at 7:00 p.m. (CET) through this link. In the short video attached to this news item you can see a presentation of what we can expect, which will apparently follow in the wake of previous editions. Names such as Hazel Sky, Flying to the Finish, Genesis Noir, The Riftbreaker or Aerial: Knights Never Yield are cited.

As for what we can expect, neither more nor less than dozens of titles of all genres; from RPG, through adventure juices, puzzle, action, horror, platforms or compatible with virtual reality. Also strategy, visual novels, sports or driving simulators …

In the absence of knowing if there will be any unexpected surprises, announcements and video games yet to be known or important details of video games pending to be published in 2021, there are a few days of much entertainment and the opportunity to meet new visions of young and veteran developers of the sector.
