Streets of Rage 4 will arrive in physical format to Spain in summer

Avance Discos will distribute two editions in this format, a normal and a Signature Edition, both with very special extras.

The mythical SEGA saga has returned in Streets of Rage 4, a completely new title that is reborn from its ashes to offer a video game with a classic flavor. Although it was released in digital format on April 30, Spanish players will be able to enjoy various editions in physical format. Avance Discos and Merge Games have reached an agreement to distribute these editions in Spain, which will be published in the summer for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

As usual, players will be able to choose between various editions. In this case, it is a normal edition (34.99 euros on Xbox One and PS4; 39.99 euros on Nintendo Switch) and the Signature Edition. In the first case, a copy of the game, a character book and a keychain are included, while buyers of the more premium version will receive the following extras:

  • Special box with additions contents
  • Standard edition with reversible cover, art book and keychain
  • Five pins of the characters
  • Numbered art print
  • Soundtrack CD
  • Axel's Bandana

As in the previous case, the price of the Nintendo Switch version will be significantly more expensive (59.99 euros), since the players of the other consoles will be able to get it for 59.99 euros.

Streets of Rage 4

A renovated classic

Streets of Rage 4 has been developed by DotEmu in collaboration with Lizardscube and Guard Crush Game. The team were aware of the need to maintain the spirit of the classic, so they contacted some of the key members of the first three installments of the saga. Thus, composers Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima are back. And they are accompanied by Yoko Shimomura, composer of Kingdom Hearts, Hideki Nagamuma (Jet Set Radio, Sega Rally, Super Monkey Ball) and Keiji Yamagishi (Ninja Gaiden, Tecmo Bow).

This new chapter of the franchise is available from day 1 on Xbox Game Pass.
