Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury shows its cooperative fun in a gameplay

The adaptation of the original Wii U title to Nintendo Switch will go on sale on February 12.

Super Mario will return through the front door of the hand of one of the Wii U classics, a title that will include all the contents of the original, as well as a completely new expansion. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury for Nintendo Switch retains the cooperative component, which is also the star of the most recent video published by Nintendo. The clip, which you can see below these lines, shows how this feature works in Bowser’s Fury.

Although if you play alone you will have to handle Mario yes or yes, when there is a second player in the game Bowser Jr becomes a playable character. Thanks to his brush, he can help the plumber (or ex-plumber, according to Nintendo) to reach seemingly inaccessible power-ups. It should be noted that unlike the main game, the expansion only allows 2 simultaneous players instead of 4. Users will have the opportunity to launch into an open world with Mario in his feline form. With this transformation, he must face the evil Bowser, who as always is doing his thing.

A character for each type of player

In Super Mario 3D World each character has different abilities. While Mario is very balanced, Luigi is able to jump higher. Instead, Princess Peach has the ability to float in the air. And what about Toad? When he has his feet on the ground he is the fastest. As we have already mentioned, these characters are only selectable in the main mode, which incorporates both online and local cooperative multiplayer.

This title developed by Nintendo EAD invites us to enjoy all kinds of levels, which we must overcome by reaching the goal. The feline Mario costume is not the only one present, as Mario Tanuki and Boomerang appear throughout the game. New abilities such as the super hood (turns Mario into a cat that scratches and climbs) or the cannon box, which allows us to launch projectiles, with only some of the options available.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will go on sale on February 12 exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
