The Nintendo Nintendo-themed space at Universal Orlando Resort is postponing its premiere due to the difficulties caused by COVID-19.
The Super Nintendo World themed area planned for Universal’s Epic Universe amusement park, at the Universal Orlando Resort in Florida, United States, delays its premiere until early 2025 as a result of the difficulties that its construction is going through due to COVID-19.
This thematic space, initially planned for its opening in 2023, needs much more time to prepare and set up, according to information from the Orlando Sentinel (via Polygon), which was completely paralyzed in July 2020 due to the gravity it was reaching. the coronavirus pandemic in the United States last summer.
After the repercussion of the Orlando Sentinel report, Universal itself has published an official statement making it clear that construction has resumed “immediately, but it is expected to take a few months before it reaches your maximum speed” of construction, given that employees have to go back to their jobs little by little and bring together both the supplier teams and the contractors.
