Defeat Magma Cubes to harvest Magma Creams. Place four creams in a square on a crafting table to create one magma block, though the process is slower than natural mining.
How to Deploy Magma Blocks
Combine a Potent Sulfur block beneath a magma block, then tower water above to spawn a geyser that hurls lava to great heights.
Position water directly above magma to generate a vortex that pulls entities downward, functioning as a bubble elevator.
Drop non‑fire‑immune mobs on magma blocks to reduce their health steadily; collect drops via hoppers or manual pickup. Surround bases with magma, hidden by carpet, to deter hostile mobs.
Note that magma blocks do not dispense lava; they merely emit aggressive bubble clouds beneath water.
