The North American company, in its plan to launch 93 games by 2025, will make great efforts in that period. Names sound strong.
Take-Two Interactive prepares an advertising investment of $ 89 million during the twelve months between April 2023 and March 2024. This fiscal year will have more than double the capital in marketing than in any other year of the next five years, such as reflects the company's official roadmap presented to its group of shareholders.
The document, which Venture Beat has advanced, also compares the previous forecast with the modified one. If before they planned $ 78.1 million for the 2023 exercise, now the plan is transferred to a 2023-24 that is expected, whatever the name, at least the launch of a great video game.
It should be noted that this does not imply that between the months of April 2013 and March 2024 there will be a grand launch of the likes of Grand Theft Auto (such as the expected Grand Theft Auto VI), but sources close to the information – unconfirmed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two — they affirm that the main candidate and responsible for this advertising investment is none other than that GTA 6 that fans are so waiting for. A game that would come, if so, a decade after the successful GTA 5, which has already sold 130 million copies worldwide.

93 game releases in the next 5 years
That Take-Two plans a roadmap in a big way for the next five years is something that we already knew since the presentation a few days ago of the financial results of the last fiscal year. In the document, enunciated by the president of the publisher, Karl Slatoff, it was indicated that there will be a total of 93 titles between now and March 31, 2025; where all their labels are included: Rockstar Games, 2K Sports, Private Division, Socialpoint and associated works of third companies.
As far as we know, based on the official statement there will be 63 will be of a “core” genre, always referring to each title as a version (if a game comes out on three platforms it counts as three games). In addition, 46 of those 93 will correspond to new intellectual properties, while 47 games will be from well-known sagas. That's where names like 2K sports games come into play, licenses like Borderlands and the two big names that many people want to hear: Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, especially the first of them.
What does Take-Two have in store for the coming years?
Without going into possible names, hinted sagas and other unconfirmed candidates, there are several games officially in development for the immediate future: a new BioShock; the new 2K Silicon Valley game (31st Union; Michael Condrey); new installments of 2K Sports (NBA, for example), Kerbal Space Program 2 (2021); BioShock: The Collection, Borderlands Legendary Collection and XCOM 2 Collection editions on Nintendo Switch and Mafia Definitive Edition (with remake of the first part in August). We do not know at this point if there will be a new delivery of GTA in the coming years.
