The Spanish video game industry has a new contender in the genre of shooters on consoles: Task Force Campas. After passing through the itch.io platform, the first Cassiopeia title born in Zaragoza is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One; this Thursday in the Nintendo Switch eShop.
This small development team, made up of Paula, Víctor and Nacho, is intended to dazzle lovers of one of the sector's prime genres. As they relate themselves: "a space shooting scene set in space with an emphasis on game feel and music" techno / synthwave style.

It is not the same experience that we saw a year ago on itch.io, however; This time there are more options, a more complete and adapted experience for the control with command. In addition, this time they have a publisher, Estaiasoft, which has helped them make this adaptation possible for the home consoles of Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo.
Before us, a lot of levels available with a design inspired by the great titles of the same genre in the Japanese industry. Retro action with aspects according to current times; new mechanics unpublished in the previous version and randomly generated scenarios. The heads, meanwhile, are made by hand. In the absence of checking how demanding the title is, its creators assure that the most expert will be able to find reasons to try to achieve the highest scores.

Task Force Campas has been recognized at the Valencia Indie Summit fair for its soundtrack, which has stood out above other national titles in development; you can listen to it right here. The premise of the game is clear: like any good shoot ‘em up, it wants to convince with its playability, its comfort at the controls; but also that it be fun, that it hooks, that we feel the music in our fingers and all that frenzy of color is one with our eyes.
