The team increases the ratio of soul cores left by certain Yokai enemies through Nioh 2 update 1.08. Fixes and adjustments.
Nioh 2 is headed for its first month on the market. During these four weeks, the company has wanted to fine-tune the investigations that remained in the pipeline before its launch. After knowing the settings of some Yokai, Team Ninja regulates the drop rate of certain objects.
As detailed in a tweet through their official account, update 1.08 increases the number of soul cores left by the following enemies:
-
Oni-bi of fire
-
Umi-Bozu
-
Poisonous slime
-
"Maelstrom Oni-Bi"
-
Oni-Bi electric
-
Karakasa umbrellas
-
Flying appearance
On the adjustments side, the number of attacks the Yotsu-no-Kami core can perform has been reduced, one of the best Yokai abilities so far. Others, like Yamanba and Tesso, have increased the speed and number of attacks, respectively.
If we get into the bug fixes plane, the Kusarigama's snake attack ability has been fixed as it sometimes didn't trigger the Ki pulse when hitting an attack. The fix extends to the water drop skill.

"Team Ninja in superlative mode"
In our Reviews, we said that Nioh 2 "is not afraid to look head to head at the big names in the subgenre." The study knew how to expand the formula from a conservative perspective. This continuity of the elements that made the first one unique "serves to take further a game that feels practically infinite."
"At all levels it is, plain and simple, better," he concludes. You can read the full text here. Nioh 2 is now available on PlayStation 4.
