All changes to the TFT system

  • TFT Override Renewal: Most of the TFT overrides are now part of a shared system. If an effect applies a debuff that’s already active on a champion, such as multiple instances of armor reduction, the most powerful debuff will take priority in terms of duration. When the effect of the stronger debuff wears off, if there is a weaker debuff of the same type that would have lasted longer, this debuff will continue to take effect for the difference of the two durations.
  • Debuffs of the same type no longer stack – where multiple debuffs of the same type fall on the same unit, the strongest one will take priority for its duration.
  • Chosen Champion Chance: Updating the chance of getting a Chosen in the latest version causes Chosen with cost 4 to appear too often at level 7. Chance at level 7: 0/40/55/5/0% ⇒ 0/40 / 58/2/0%.

All changes to TFT Attributes

  • Custodian Shield Value: 150/200/275 ⇒ 150/200/250.
  • Vanguard Armor: 100/250/500/1000 ⇒ 100/250/500/800.
  • Vanguard Magic Resist: 20/40/70/100 ⇒ 10/25/50/80

All changes to TFT Objects

  • Deathblade Starting Stacks: 4 ⇒ 3.
  • Statikk Dagger Damage: 60 ⇒ 65
  • Trap Claw’s projectile now travels much faster. Now you know, Trap Claw counters Aurelion Sol.

User experience (UX) improvements in TFT

  • The sell PC hotkey has been disabled in round 1. No more accidentally selling your only unit and losing to minions, although they are also people, so it’s not a shame at all.
  • The practice objective has been removed from the army interfaces both in-game and on the end-of-game screen.
  • The shop is now properly disabled during carousel rounds, preventing accidental purchases while mini-legends enter and exit portals.

Bug fixes in TFT

  • Jarvan IV now correctly casts his spell when he casts it on the same target again with Mage’s Cap.
  • When multiple copies of Kalista are on the board, they will no longer fail to execute a target if the Kalista that nailed the first spear dies.
  • Fixed an issue where Galio would sometimes not land in the largest group. This sometimes happened when Aatrox attracted a target. Galio determined that the target was going to be drawn into a large group and decided to land on that target, but if Aatrox’s animation had not ended, he chose the target’s starting position as the landing point and did not land on the largest group.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Tryndamere’s Spinning Slash damage to benefit from the Basic Attack Damage bonus.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Runaan’s Hurricane to consume a stack of Tryndamere’s Spinning Slash attack damage bonus to deal bonus damage.
  • Fixed an issue where when a player surrendered to a champion who had an attribute item, the champion could be reacquired from the shop or carousel and still retain all of their items.
  • Now Choncc will once again delight us with his rhythm.
  • We are aware that there is a bug, reported as bug # 11141, with the Bertasaurus player and we are working on a balance change for the competitive landscape.
