The 15 best-selling indies games of 2019 on Nintendo Switch

A compilation of essential games as well as cheap ones for Nintendo Switch that deserve to be on your list of Kings and Santa Claus.

"From moving stories to action-packed adventures, there is something for everyone on this vacation." This is how Nintendo introduced the latest video from its YouTube channel, in which it reviews the best-selling indie games on Nintendo Switch in 2019. Without giving figures and without ordering them from more to less sold (or vice versa), the company offers a loaded list of names that deserve a place in our list of gifts of kings. A list of fifteen titles in which the last two major hits of Devolver Digital (My Friend Pedro and Katana Zero) have a place; the return of several essential classics of the genre (such as Terraria, Torchlight II and Castle Crashers Remastered); or those who have undoubtedly starred in one of the news of the year: Cuphead and Ori and the Blind Forest, to which Microsoft, in an unprecedented opening policy, has given permission to leave Xbox and cease to be exclusive.

They are joined by two of the best indie nominees of the year in The Game Awards 2019, the adventure starring the most famous goose in the world of the video game, Utitled Goose Game, and the one in this house we call “the indie surprise of the year ”, Baba is You, a daring and revolutionary puzzle loaded with puns. Both lost to Disco Elysium in the event, but they guarantee us a good time to the joy-con. And so we could keep talking about everyone: the cooperative platforms of Unravel 2, the beautiful WarGroove (a “Nintendo Wars” in turn) and the great Spanish launch of the course, Blasphemous, which is the triumph of Holy Week and folklore. But what better description of them than the video on these lines.
