LucasArts production was canceled when the studio closed its doors after Disney bought the company.

Boba Fett was finally going to star in a video game. The Mandalorian armored bounty hunter had been chosen to be the star of a dark adventure in which he would have to deal with the most dangerous of the underworld. However, the closure of LucasArts truncated that possibility. Star Wars 1313 never materialized, but seven years after its cancellation, an unpublished capture was shown, followed by two others, which you can see in this same news.

In the first of them, Boba Fett appears alongside one of the characters that was seen in the original demo, shown at E3 2012. In the background, the city of Coruscant is shown with its usual chiaroscuro, where the lights contrast with the metal structures of buildings. In the second capture, the bounty hunter emerges from a ventilation tunnel in the same city, seat of imperial power and home of the Galactic Senate.

The game, a third-person action adventure, was in development until Disney acquired LucasFilm. The entertainment giant decided to do without LucasArts, a mythical studio, author of great graphic adventures, which, however, had spent years in low hours. Those of Mickey Mouse, preferred to transfer the license to third parties and chose Electronic Arts as travel companions.

Fallen Order success and future

With Star Wars 1313 in the drawer of the forgotten, EA resumed the Battlefront saga, at the hands of EA DICE. Not without vicissitudes (the case of the loot boxes in Battlefront 2 or the cancellation of several projects), the company hit the key in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, a video game set in the era of the Jedi purge, years after that Emperor Palpatine ascend to the galactic throne. The new from Respawn Entertainment will continue with a sequel not officially announced, but still in progress, according to Kotaku.

Star Wars: Project Maverick is another of the leaked games. It hasn't been officially announced at the moment either, though the new EA Motive title was leaked on PSN and will be an experimental multiplayer video game.
