Enthusiastic about the series
Craig Mazin made clear his respect for Neil Druckmann and The Last of Us, a game that qualifies as the most important title of its creator. “Neil Druckmann is without a doubt the best screenwriter who works in video games, and The Last of Us is his great work. Having the opportunity to adapt this amazing piece of art has been a dream for me for years. I feel very honored to do it in collaboration with Neil, ”said the writer.
The series still has no confirmed date or cast. However, the saga will return soon thanks to The Last of Us Part 2, an exclusive PlayStation 4 title that will go on sale next May 29. The story will continue the events told in the first game, a few years after the journey of Ellie and Joel came to an end.
Now that she has become a woman, Ellie must face new dangers and challenges. According to Neil Druckmann, hate will be one of the emotions that will channel Ellie's trip in this sequel, which aims to strengthen her emotional connection with the players. In fact, all enemies will have a name and will react to the death of their colleagues realistically.
