The creators of No Man's Sky don't talk about their new big game because they have "learned their lesson"

Sean Murray, head of Hello Games, says they will not talk about their new and great title until they are ready to do so and it is advanced.

A few weeks ago from Hello Games they assured that they are working on a “great and ambitious game” as No Man’s Sky is finally, after all the problems it has gone through since its launch more than four years ago. That does not mean that they have stopped working on their galactic epic, far from it, and that is that Origins, their new expansion, is now available. However, Sean Murray has not yet given news of that new title because according to them, they have “learned their lesson” when it comes to raising expectations.

Just the hype for a huge game

It should be remembered that No Man’s Sky came preceded by an excessive expectation of several years in which Murray spoke of the magnitude of a game that, once on the market, presented a large number of problems. Far from abandoning it, Hello Games went to work to carry out what they had promised from the beginning, thanks to a good handful of excellent free updates. Therefore, they will not talk about this new game until they are prepared and completely sure of what they have in hand.

No Man's Sky

“Look, we’ve learned our lesson,” Murray said. “We don’t want to start talking too soon. The only reason we’ve talked about it is because our latest game, The Last Campfire, is the first to come from No Man’s Sky. It’s developed by a separate team from the main one. But When we talk to the press, a lot of them do it from the point of view that like we did Joe Danger before No Man’s Sky, they think we will now have to make a game the size of Joe Danger. We don’t want people to get that impression. because it’s not exactly true. “

In fact, Murray adds that it will not be the size of No Man’s Sky, but will be even larger, or at least that is his intention.

No Man’s Sky is now available on PS4, Xbox One -including Game Pass- and PC, with its last two major updates, Origins and Desolation, which makes it a survival horror, already applied.
