The Division 2 – Situation Snowball Event heralds the Christmas season

Ubisoft has announced a new title update and a theme-related event for the Christmas season in 'The Division 2', which will be launched in just a few days.

Situation: Snowball – Some of Washington D.C's most notorious opponents show their holiday mood by wearing a red Santa hat and taunting the players. When you defeat these enemies, they drop a new weapon that shoots … snowballs. As part of this in-game Christmas event, all players who log into the game between December 10th and January 7th will receive their own Santa hat to celebrate Christmas.

The title Update 6.1 also includes the "Silent Night" clothing event and a dark winter theme. Players can collect 35 new pieces of clothing from the "Silent Night" clothing boxes. All players who log in during the event will receive a free key. In addition, players with a Year 1 Pass will receive an additional three keys as a bonus during the event. Starting with the "Silent Night" apparel event, players also have the opportunity to purchase the Premium Credits clothing boxes and send them as a gift to friends and clan members.

In addition, the beta version for the new hardcore mode will be included in the title update 6.1. In this new mode, death is final, making The Division 2's entire campaign the ultimate challenge for the agents. With no way to restart, the division agents must be tactical and careful in order to make it as close as possible. Players need to work together to have a better chance of reaching the final and survive Washington D.C., with all its enemies and dangers.
