The new adaptation of the Koei Tecmo video game saga will be released soon in China and its creators share a trailer with spectacular combats.

Although there are several film adaptations of video games that will reach the big screen in the coming months (without going any further, the Monster Hunter movie with Milla Jovovich or the reboot of the Mortal Kombat saga), there is a movie that many fans of the cinema based on video games may not have been controlled. This is the live action adaptation of the famous musou Dynasty Warriors franchise, a Chinese film that will soon be released in theaters in your country (it is scheduled for April) and of which we finally have a first and spectacular trailer that you can see on these lines.

Premiere in China and Hong Kong

Although this live-action adaptation of the Dynasty Warriors video game saga was announced several years ago, it has not been until now that a trailer has been presented as a preview of what Chinese fans can expect of such a popular musou franchise. Produced by China 3D Digital Entertainment Limited under the direction of filmmaker Roy Chow Hin Yeuing, we can finally take a look at such a spectacular film that promises to bring the multitudinous confrontations so characteristic of the Dynasty Warriors to the big screen, with a more than promising result.

And it is that this adaptation of Dynasty Warriors was originally supposed to reach Asian cinemas in 2019, although it ended up being delayed for several reasons, the last of which was the global pandemic of the coronavirus. But will this adaptation reach the West? At the moment there is nothing confirmed, so fans of the musou saga will have to continue playing the many Dynasty Warriors video games (despite the delay of its latest installment until further notice) and wait for a possible domestic marketing of the movie in the future.
