Marvel Studios has decided to cancel the filming of the new series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in Europe after the crisis caused by the coronavirus and that is affecting many countries in the Old Continent. So much so, that all the equipment displaced to Prague, Czech Republic, has been ordered to return to Atlanta, United States, production base and where the shooting would resume in the coming days.
Second production interruption
Thus, last Friday, part of the team of the first series of the UCM that is scheduled to premiere at Disney + this August, started shooting in Prague, a production that has been radically canceled at that location after the latest related events with the crisis of the outbreak of the coronavirus. This has been shared exclusively by the Deadline media, ensuring that all production components have been ordered to return to their homes in the United States.
At the moment there is no news about whether filming will resume in Prague in the coming weeks, although it does not seem likely that it will happen if we take into account the times, both of the production and its premiere as of the epidemic situation in Europe.
This new interruption in the filming of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is the second in recent months after the withdrawal of production from Puerto Rico due to seismic movements last January, with tremors of magnitude of up to 6.4.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is scheduled to premiere on Disney + next August, still without a specific date; on the other hand, WandaVision will premiere on the streaming platform next December.
