The anthology of Supermassive Games, authors of Until Dawn and Man of Medan, return with a different fear adventure.
Terror has a thousand faces and changes according to the prism of those who look at it, but Supermassive Games, the studio behind Until Dawn, aims to experiment with many different subgenres. After Man of Medan, an adventure in which its protagonists lived a spooky story inside a ghost ship, the studio presents Little Hope, another chapter of The Dark Pictures Anthology. Bandai Namco has announced that the game will go on sale in summer 2020. They have also presented a teaser trailer, which you can see on these lines and that reproduces the reactions of some content creators.

This time there will be no ship, but mysterious people. Four university students and their teacher go to Little Hope and are isolated in the area. As the name of the town indicates, there is not much hope, since all of them will be immersed in a spiral of nightmare with visions from which they will have to escape. As they know the village, they will discover the answers to all the questions that have been raised in the head, the origin of evil and an uncomfortable truth: that everything that happens is related to them.

As an anthology, like American Horror Story, each of the installments tells a different story and focuses on unpublished characters. The games have a cinematic character and combine narratives with playable mechanics. "All the stories are based on real-world facts, legends and fictional aspects," reads the press release, sent by Bandai Namco. Another of the points in common is that the title has multiplayer modes: Shared history is online and allows you to enjoy the game with a friend, while Movie Night is designed so that up to 5 people play in local offline, passing the command.
