Ellie and Joel's journey will continue very soon, and all this despite the unforeseen events that Naughty Dog and Sony have had to establish the release date of The Last of Us Part 2. Both companies set the month of February as the ideal time for its release, but the team needed more time and delayed its commercialization until May 29. They did not expect that they would run into the coronavirus, so they had to delay it again and remove it from the PlayStation Store. Now it has returned and it can now be booked in digital format.
All players who made the reservation in advance received a cancellation message from Sony, as well as a refund of the amount. Therefore, those interested must repeat the process again. The Standard Edition can be purchased at a price of 69.99 euros (paid on the spot). Of course, it includes some pre-order incentives: a PSN avatar of Ellie's tattoo, upgraded ammo capacity of the protagonist's pistol, and a crafting manual for recipes and upgrades. The Deluxe Edition incorporates the same pre-order extras and adds several digital extras: soundtrack, artwork miniature, six PSN avatars and a unique dynamic theme. Its price? 79.99 euros.
It should be noted that Naughty Dog made available to players a free theme that can still be downloaded from the PlayStation Store.
