On Reddit and Twitter there are several messages from users in those regions that confirm that fact. For example, one of the comments on Reddit ensures that The Last of Us Part 2 does not appear on the PlayStation Store. After contacting the Sony store, the company has responded that the title is not available in that territory because it has been censored by the authorities. “The company cannot do anything.”
It is not strange, given that there are still countries that criminalize homosexual relations, even with the death penalty. In the video game, Ellie —the protagonist of the adventure—, maintains an openly homosexual relationship with Dina. Anyway, Ellie’s sexual condition is known from the first installment.

The importance of diverse characters
The Last of Us Part 2 was released on June 19 exclusively for PS4. The game, developed by Naughty Dog, has placed special emphasis on the diversity of the characters. According to the director of the play, Neil Druckmann, having characters of all kinds enriches the narrative and allows screenwriters to tell better stories.
