The Naughty Dog game is set for release, scheduled for May 29, 2020.
The development of The Last of Us Part 2 continues as planned. The new Naughty Dog video game, one of the great exclusives of PlayStation 4, is nearing the end of its production, as confirmed by the studio itself through its official website. In addition, the American developer has announced a free dynamic theme for the Sony console.
"We are delighted to report that we have entered the final part of the production and that we are putting the finishing touches on The Last of Us Part 2 while reading this," they have published on the company's blog. “The end of development puts us much closer to its launch. We know that all of you have been very patient in recent years, so it has been exciting to see how our game took its final form. ” This means that "it will be in the hands" of the players "soon."
Those who ran out of the Ellie Edition, which includes a figure of the protagonist, among other things, will have the opportunity to reserve it again. Unfortunately, it will only be available in some stores in the United States and Canada, so that at least for now, it does not seem that European users who ran out of it can try again. Ellie's new figure
Naughty Dog has announced an agreement with Dark Horse to launch a new figure, "Ellie with Machete", which will be manufactured with polyresin. "Designed and sculpted by our incredibly talented team of artists, this new statue will be produced in a limited way based on reservations via Dark Horse, before March 13, 2020." Once that date has passed, there will be no possibility of seizing it. However, Dark Horse will publish a version of the statue "Ellie with a bow", which can be purchased at select stores.
From February 27 to March 1, Naughty Dog will take a playable demo to the PAX East of Boston, which will include one of the first stages of the game. Dina and Ellie must patrol to eliminate all threats from the surrounding area.
The Last of Us Part 2 was scheduled for late February, but the study announced a delay because they needed more time to realize their creative idea. It will be available exclusively for PlayStation 4 on May 29.
