In addition, the launch of some helmets and an external hard drive with prints of the Naughty Dog game is confirmed.

Ellie and Joel's adventure continues a few years after the end of the first video game. The Last of Us Part 2 is preparing for release and Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced news for fans of the Naughty Dog title. Through the official PlayStation blog, the Japanese company has unveiled a limited and themed edition of PlayStation 4 Pro, engraved with a tattoo that fans will instantly recognize. As if that were not enough, a headset and an external hard drive with the design of The Last of Us Part 2 are also prepared.

The custom console has a matte finish and includes an Ellie tattoo print, while the Dual Shock 4 wireless controller also features a similar print. It should be noted that the game will be included in physical format, but those who buy it will be able to access a dynamic theme and new avatars, among other elements. The console will be out on June 19, although those interested can already reserve it at participating stores

On the other hand, the limited edition wireless gold headset comes in a matte Steel Black finish with crimson inner pads, as well as the iconic Ellie tattoo and The Last of Us Part 2 logo. The 2TB hard drive is born from A collaboration between Sony and Seagate and will be available in stores at a recommended price of 78.99 euros.

"When we announced The Last of Us Part 2, we had no idea that Ellie's tattoo was going to make such a deep impression on fans of the game," says John Sweeney, art director for Naughy Dog. "The next day we started seeing real versions on social media, and since then fans have been sharing photos of their new tattoos week after week."

According to the creative, in the studio they did not stop thinking about the tattoo, which had become "a symbol of the game in the eyes of the community", as the emblem of the Fireflies of the first installment. "The decision was clear, but then the light bulb lit up: what if we recorded it on the console?" Said and done. Sweeney affirms that "the result is very special" and that this tribute fills them with "pride".

The Last of Us Part 2 will be released on June 19 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
